Project Brief
The Developer had set this playground environment as the centrepiece for a new residential development near Champion Lakes. It was important that the entire area was aesthetically pleasing as well as providing a safe, slip resistant playing surface.
Landscape Architects, LD Total, engaged Antiskid Industries to provide the solution. Antiskid’s expert staff liaised closely with the designers, the contractors and the developers to provide a solution that was not only economical and ensured optimum safety for users but that was also aesthetically pleasing, dramatic and presented a point of focus for the entire area.
Solution
Antiskid Industries recommended installing the OMNIGLAZE Surfacing System. This solution provides safety for all users while also acting as a brilliant and vibrant point of focus for the surrounding development.
This solution is low maintenance and will continue to be a dynamic feature for many years to come with minimal maintenance requirements.
