The main entry from the underground car park into the Cockburn Gate Shopping Centre had a plain concrete apron. This concrete was very bland and boring but, worse than that, was presenting as a slip hazard at times. The Centre Management wanted to improve the aesthetics and to provide a stylish entry statement for the centre. The entryway had to be slip resistant and hard wearing with low maintenance requirements.
The car park was utilised every day and the centre could not have this entranceway closed during trading hours. A solution needed to be provided that was able to address all these issues.
Solution:
Antiskid Industries recommended installing Flowcrete Flowfast Terrosso, which is a seamless, decorative resin flooring system that delivers a modern, easy to clean, durable floor finish., ideally suited to high frequency traffic movements such as building entrances and walkways.
The product range is an attractive & hard wearing flexible polyurethane system with varying degrees of slip resistance for ramps and entranceways as well as general thoroughfares or usage areas.
And it is installed quickly and efficiently.
