The Royal on the Waterfront

> Kitchen & Bar Floor Upgrade

> Hard wearing, food grade finish with chemical and anti slip resistance

> Seamless Polyurethane Resin Flooring

Antiskid Industries were challenged to complete the total upgrade with a time frame of starting first thing Monday morning and completion ready for commissioning by the following Thursday afternoon.

The upgrade required the complete removal of all floor tiles and screed and a total decommissioning of kitchen equipment including plumbing and electrical works.

Mechanically prepare the existing floor tiles , removing broken or loose tiles and repairing. Decommission bar including plumbing and electrical equipment in readiness for new flooring.

Antikid recommended removing existing flooring and prepare for new epoxy based screed approximately 20mm to falls and existing drains. Supply and install epoxy based coving finished under existing wall tiles. Followed by installing 6mm poly/resin flooring in a slip resistant finish and finally commission reinstatement of all equipment, plumbing and electical works.

Once the existing floor had been prepared Antiskid recommended a food grade protective flooring in a slip resistant finish to be installed over the existing tiles. Finally reinstate new aluminium floor coving on completion and recommission all bar equipment.

Work was completed and recommissioned within the time allowed ready for commercial action on the Friday.
